Family Reunion
Our stay on the vineyard in Salinas California. Our only refuge from the record heatwave was playing in the pool or playing cards in the one room with the air-conditioner we brought. The vineyard was a large plot of land the kids and the dogs could run around, play and explore. The last few days we were at the vineyard wildfires began to burn in nearby canyons. The sky became red and smoke filled the air but we didn't let that stop us from enjoying our time together. Later we made our way to Carmel-by-the-Sea where Chandler and I would prepare things for our Big Sur wedding.
